Strömsparmodus

Strömsparmodus (Bart Van Cauteren,Maarten Nieuwdorp en Glen Naedts) are a newly formed production trio influenced by labels like Areal,Minus and Kahlwild amongst many others.

SSM's music has the essence of machine funk hopping along under drifting reverbs,raw synths and pumpin' minimal beats. Throw in the musical experience they have on their own with 2 dj's( varying in styles from electronica to world music) and the know how from Akron (Glen) on board you can almost feel the heat commin' off their live act onto your jackin' body.

Vegorista (Bart) as a former roland workstation adept/dj and Eklecticon (Maarten) who played @ Big Bash and various underground goa/electronic partys combined with Akron's previous experience from earlier live sets and Red Bull Music Academy 2005 in Seattle will make this opening act drop smack bang on top.
