Nervix

Since the beginning, Wouter aka Nervix was very interested in electronic dance music. It all started in the year 2002 when he bought his first turntables and mixer. By then, the music became more and more important in his life. His weekly visits to music stores became a journey to discover and develop his own musical style. After a few years of exploring the music scene, he knew what he wanted to play: a very technical mixture of minimal and techno. In 2007, Nervix met Stijn, the founder of the Funk You! party concept and one of the leading forces behind Out Soon magazine. Stijn introduced him to people in the underground scene in the neigborhood of Lier. Just to drop a few names: Eerik, Ohmzz, Kevin, Iver, Departed Veer and Kurt K. In april 2008, he got the chance to play along a few of these fellow dj's at Phases, the extremely popular free party concept by the Funk You! crew. At this moment, Nervix is the resident dj at the trendy LoungeBarCode in Putte and off course the new Esperanza concept. In the near future, he wants to produce his own sounds and keep expanding his horizon…
